Topic: THE THRONE OF GRACE

Scripture: Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 (KJV)

A lot of people till now have not known what is called “The Grace of God”. A lot mistake this grace for a tool for having things. No wonder you see people or ministry answering the name Grace but their way of worship and their doctrinal believes nail Christ to cross again and again daily.  Galatians 5:4 says “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace” (KJV). In another version it says “You have severed yourselves from Christ–you who are seeking to be pronounced righteous through Law; you have fallen away from love”. (TCNT)

When we talk about Grace it is all about the finished work of Christ – John 19:30. The truth is that Jesus Christ does not have grace; He himself is the grace of God to mankind. Halleluyah! – Titus 2:11 says the grace of God that brought salvation has appeared unto all people; talking about Jesus. Jesus is full of grace according to John 1:14 & 16. The throne He operates from is called the throne of grace.

Grace talks of ever ready pardon, ready sufficiency and ready love from God to all that will come to him either as a sinner or as one having received His righteousness. That will make me get surprised at the ignorant people spreading wrong gospel that God is angry with sinner. God is punishing a country or the world and that is why He is sending sickness, or locust etc., it shows how low knowledge they are in the gospel of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 3:16. James 1:17, 2 Peter 3:9, John 10:11-18

For your information as much as God hates sin, He loves the sinner. He will not punish any sinner now because His grace is still running. The punishment is after death- Hebrews 9:27. For example corona virus is not from God neither is locust from him to punish anyone or nation. That is demonic and it is a fulfilment of the prophecy and sign of end time. For believers they are covered in Christ. Unbelievers should better run to Christ now to be saved from this anger of Satan over the world.

It will also be clear to know that the throne of grace is the throne where God’s help flows to every man. “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need – Hebrews 4:15-16 (KJV).

A throne is the seat of power; it is a seat of sovereign; a throne of grace is designed to represent a sovereign seated to dispense mercy and pardon. No wonder Jesus said “But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” – Mathew 9:13 (KJV). We serve a God that is full of mercy and grace, He is never angry like a man and He will never be angry at you – 1 John 2:1-2, He does not pay evil with evil, He does not kill, he does not destroys, He only gives life and blessings – John 10:10/ Luke 9:52-55. This is time to un-learn to learn the correct version of God through Christ Jesus.

That is why it will be very wrong to attribute evil things to God. He is not good today and bad tomorrow that is why we do say God is good and the response is all the time. – James 1:13-14. Satan is the one behind all troubles of life. What God want from us is to walk in His grace with a pure heart which we can do through the power of His grace and righteousness – Philippians 2:13 says “For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure”.

Conclusion:

We must stop coming to God on the platform of our effort or works – Hebrews 4:15-16. If it is grace it will never require anything from you but requires all things from Jesus to meet our needs per time. Do not forget that it was grace that saved you and the same grace is only what can make you benefit maximally from the work of salvation. This is the dispensation of grace and we must embrace it. God is not looking for perfect people he is after the non-perfect to make them perfect.

Declaration:

I have access to the grace of God. God is never angry with me, I am loved by God and by this grace I begin to live to please Him daily and have all my needs met in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer:

From today and forever you shall never fall out of grace. Let the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you now and forever with evidence of victory and supplies daily according to your need in Jesus name. Amen.
