The Expression of Faith: How to Put Faith to work.

The power of believers lies in the use of faith. Victory or breakthrough or deliverance as it is called for believers in Christ Jesus is not by special prayer or fasting or by reading the bible, not by going to church or sowing of sacrificial seeds. It is not in drinking oil or tying a mantle on your neck, neither is it in the hands of any man or church leaders, it is in the believers and it can be experienced or received by his or her faith. 1 John 5:4-5 (KJV) – For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Believers are overcomers. We are not going to overcome later or tomorrow. No! The day we became born again we were made freely by Jesus Christ and overcomer. Apostle Paul said we are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ who loved us. – Romans 8:37 – Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Jesus said this his teaching about how to enjoy breakthrough and victory daily in the gospel according to Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) – And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

That will not be done by prayer or fasting or whatever. It is not based on gender or age grade. It is only if you believe. That is the qualification to enjoy the power we have received freely by faith in Christ Jesus. It is not meant for the church leaders to work miracles, No! Any believer including pastors, church members, Deacons and youth or teenagers can work wonders and experience wonders in their lives if only anyone in those categories can believe.

Mark 9:23 – Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (KJV)

Mark 11:22-24 – And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (KJV)

John 14:12-14 – Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. (KJV)

The Cure to the Frustration of Believers

A lot of people are frustrated as Christians because they have not been able to become what God has promised the believers in the scripture. They know it. They pray it and do some stuff to get it but they are doing wrong things unknowingly to get the promises. A lot are even tired to be a Christian, a lot have stopped relating to church or assembly of believers, while a lot have backslid. Without working out faith, there will be no encounter with power and without an encounter with power, there will be no manifestation of the promises of God and the finished work of Christ in believers.

When I say working out faith, I want you to know that there is not a believer or a Christian without faith. If any Christian has been told that he or she has no faith. It is not true. If it is true them the fellow is not yet born again. Why? Without faith, no one can be born again. It is by faith we are saved. Ephesian 2:8-9 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 10:8-10 – But what said it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Now you can see that it is not true for a believer not to have faith. Jesus deals with us from the point of salvation by faith or a measure of faith – Romans 12:3 – For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt with every man the measure of faith.

We receive the perfect faith at salvation – 1 Peter 1:9 – Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. {KJV). From another version that same scripture was out this way – 1 Peter 1:9 –  For so you have the true end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. (BBE)

That was why we have been encouraged to look up to Jesus alone because He is the author and the finisher of our faith. – Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) – Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The cure to the frustration of the believers is not fasting, not a long hour of prayer, not in church attendance or with a pastor, No! It is not in the money we give, as much as those things are not bad. It is only in the faith that we express.

Mark 11:23-24 (KJV) – For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Expression of faith

Everything in this kingdom of God through our Lord Jesus Christ and his spirit is by faith. I mean through the application of our faith – Everything is doable and receivable or enjoyable by faith. By faith and by faith only… Let us look at a few of the things we accessed in Christ Jesus by faith.

By faith, we walk with God-

Walking with God is not by prayer, not by fasting, not by another thing it is by faith.2 Corinthians 1:24 – Not for that we have dominion over your faith but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) – (For we walk by faith, not by sight :).

Because no one will ever please God except he or she is full of a practical and practicing faith that is walking with love of God. That is called perfect faith.

By faith, we please God

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) – But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews 10:38 (KJV) – Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

I want to read that same scripture in another version for better understanding- Hebrews 10:38 (BBE) – But the upright man will be living by his faith; and if he goes back, my soul will have no pleasure in him.

By faith we live.

Faith is our lifestyle. Wow! We must see faith as the life of the believers. It is our life. If you don’t live by faith you will not make it to eternal life. You will become a sinner and you will never have a taste of the glory of God here on earth or there in the life after this earth. Meaning your life will be denied of miracles, signs, and wonders of God. Habakkuk 2:4 – Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Romans 1:17 – For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

Galatians 3:11 – But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Hebrews 10:38 – Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Can you see that it is evident that without the lifestyle of faith life becomes less interesting and challenging to live? The help from God becomes a mirage, inaccessible and denied. Not because God hates you or that God did not want to help you, No! It is the faith that moves things from God to a believer. If your faith is not expressed then you will be denied and there is nothing God can do about it. It is not His fault it is yours.

It is obvious that faith is not a tool that we use dropped and pick up again when it is needed. No! Faith is not like a vehicle’s spare tire that we keep until there is a puncture and we replace it with spare until the puncture is fixed and it is returned to its place under or behind the car. No! Faith is not a spanner that you only use when you need to untie a nut from the bolt and thereafter keep it in the toolbox. No! Faith is our life. Faith is our active life. Faith is our triumph, faith is everything to us.

Meaning that we must guide our faith jealously. We must not allow what we hear to destroy our faith, we must not allow what we see to destroy or affect our faith. Do not allow the situation or need to affect your faith, never allow impatience to weaken or affect the effectiveness of your faith. Be careful! Jesus warned the disciples about hearing – Mark 4:24 (BBE) – And he said to them, Take care what you give ear to: in the same measure as you give you will get, and more will be given to you.

He warned concerning what we see – Matthew 6:22 (BBE) – The light of the body is the eye; if then your eye is true, all your body will be full of light.

He further said we can even remove the eyes if it will affect our lives from having or sustain eternal life reality – Mark 9:47 (BBE) – And if your eye is a cause of trouble to you, take it out: it is better for you to go into the kingdom of God with one eye than, having two eyes, to go into hell,

By faith, we receive from God through

Jesus Christ. – Galatians 5:6 (KJV) – For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.

Everything we have in Christ Jesus is accessible by faith – Philemon 1:6 (KJV) – That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

We have been made complete in Christ Jesus -Colossians 2:10 (KJV) – And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

In Him we have victory, the word of God says He is our peace – Ephesians 2:14 (KJV) – For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

In Him we have power – Philippians 2:9-10 (KJV) – Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

1 Corinthians 1:24 (KJV) – But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Ephesians 2:6 (KJV) – And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

In Him we have life eternal -Hebrews 9:12 (KJV) – Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. John 1:12 (KJV) – But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

In Him we have grace for greatness – 2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJV) – For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes, he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Apostle John called it grace to higher grace experience – John 1:15-17 – John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:2 (KJV) – Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

In Him we have Wisdom that is beyond the wisdom of this world -1 Corinthians 1:24 (KJV) – But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

In Him we have our life hid in God -Colossians 3:3-4 (KJV) – For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

By faith, we enjoy the grace that Jesus brought to us

1 Peter 1:13 (KJV) – Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

But it takes faith to enjoy that grace – Romans 5:1-2 (KJV) – Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Without grace, life will be grounded and lack the glory of God in manifestation. Grace is the answer to disgrace and humiliation of Satan and his hosts. Grace is what meets all the need of the believers in Christ- Hebrews 4:15-16 –  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

By faith we become righteous. It is not by what we did or not do that we are called righteous. Apostle Paul said why boasting? There is no pride in that we are holy, He called us holy and we become holy by faith. He called us righteous and we become the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ by faith –

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (KJV) – Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

We were made righteous not by ourselves – that was the errors of the Israelites. They were working their own righteousness which is not possible. They rejected the free offer of righteousness brought by Jesus Christ –

Romans 10:1-5 – Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describes the righteousness which is of the law, that the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

That is why we must be careful when reading the writings of Moses it will keep us in the law and we will fall out of the grace of God. And have no righteousness that is of Christ that can give and permit eternal life – Apostle Paul said – Philippians 3:9 (KJV) – And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 2 Corinthians 3:15-18

Jesus told the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the leaders of the law in the temple that they cannot find life or eternal life in the readings they do on Sabbath day. He told them the life is in him. Please note that the Life or the eternal life is found only in the gospel of Jesus Christ, not the reading of Moses or the Old Testament. That was Jesus was telling them in John chapter five from verses thirty-nine to forty. Moses. John 5:39-40 (KJV) – Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Demonstration of faith

You need to daily and all-time show your faith and demonstrate the faith in Christ that you have received of Christ at salvation. 2 Peter 1:1(KJV) – Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: Let us read it from another version here – 2 Peter 1:1(BBE) – Simon Peter, a servant, and Apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who with us have a part in the same holy faith in the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ:

You need to daily and all-time show your faith and demonstrate the faith because without that all the above good things mentioned and some others I could not mention but are all written in the word of God will not be accessible to you. All these that have been mentioned so far we can never receive them into manifestation until we demonstrate our faith to access them. See this verse of the word of God.

Colossians 2:10-15 (KJV) – And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye have risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Every time Jesus sees the faith of people he is able to perform miracles in their lives – Mark 2:5

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. You need to daily and all-time show your faith and demonstrate the faith in Christ

Luke 5:20 – And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

He could not work miracles in his own family house or compound or better called his community that is his home town why? They did not believe – Mark 6:4-6 (KJV) – But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folks, and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

Let God through Jesus Christ by His spirit see your faith expressed daily. That is the way to walk in triumph daily and to enjoy the supernatural life in Christ Jesus that we have freely by faith and His grace.

Getting result with our faith has been the most challenging state for the believers in Christ Jesus. The challenge has never been lack of power or little power. It is not a lack of faith or little faith. It is an inability to use our faith effectively to get our desired result. Jesus said “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said.

“Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” – Mark 11:23-24. The subject of faith is the main teaching that believers need to be acquainted with so as to be able to become what God through our Lord Jesus Christ has ordained us to be. And to be able to access all the finished work of Christ Jesus.

The Christian walk is a walk of faith. Until a believer walks the walk of faith and an effective faith I mean a working faith it will be difficult to make it in this journey of faith and eternal life. Everything about us as believes in Christ Jesus begins with faith and ends with faith.

The Work of Faith

Faith must walk and if it is walking that means you are the one walking with it. Meaning expressing faith in every matter as regards life. It is a work of faith to give, giving for the advancement of the work of God, to the poor or those in need, or even your pastor who teaches you the word of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is work of faith to serve and worship God through the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ – John 4:23-24. It is the work of faith to win soul and so many others that we all know. Meaning that if we truly believe we have responsibilities that our faith will make us perform daily or as needed or required.

That was why Apostle Paul said woe unto him of he would not preach to save souls if he will not serve God and the people of God to fulfill the mission or ministry that he has received. Paul said in Romans 1:14 that “I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise”.  Another place he said, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of, for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me if I preach not the gospel!” – 1 Corinthians 9:16 (KJV)

That is why we can never be doing things to favor our receiving from God. Let us stop that habit. It portrays us as an unbeliever. Who does not believe in the legal right that Christ has given to us to everything God has. We are not a friend of God, we are not a servant neither are we a neighbor but a SON of God. Romans 8:15-16 – For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

John said – “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We cannot be giving because we want to receive more money, we can be serving so that he can bless our bread and water and take away sickness from the midst of us according to Exodus 23:25. No! Or according to Job 36:11 that you shall serve the Lord your God and He will bless your bread and water and now the reason you are doing whatever you are doing is to have bread and water from God. Will you do that to Him id He was to be your earthly father. No father does that and no child does that to his father not to talk of your heavenly father. who owns the whole world.

He does not need us to serve before He healed us. He had already healed us before we were saved by Him… Halleluyah. 1 Peter 2:24 – says – Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Yes doing all such we shall be rewarded.

Yes, He shall reward us for every responsibility we engage in his name and towards his kingdom. Hebrews 6:10 – For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. But that will not be our motives. It is to us more of a responsibility than access to wonders or bread and water. If we need anything he said we should ask. Simple! – Mathew 7:7-11. John 14:12-14. Asking in faith – James 1:5-8. Mark 11:22-24.

The Danger of not Expressing the Faith

Any believe that is not expressing his or her faith will become a doubting believer. And that is the biggest danger of not using your faith. The more it is used the stronger and more effective it becomes.  Another danger is that such faith will be dormant. It will be weakened daily.  Such a believer will run into the danger of abusing grace. Such a believer will be committing a sin of unbelief. This is the sin that gives birth to other sins. Romans 14:23 (KJV) – And he that doubted is damned if he eats because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is a sin.

Can I tell you this; every sin you commit has a link to the strength of your faith because every sin is a breach or denial of faith. If you believe in righteousness you will keep yourself righteous even at the expense of your life. That was what apostles did. People like Stephen that was killed, people like Apostle Paul and others that were imprisoned and beaten and refused to do otherwise. It was because of their faith.

If you believe in the mission and the spread of the work of God through Jesus Christ by His spirit here on earth you will partner with your substance with your church, pastor or other believers on a mission or gospel without you being manipulated with prayers or breakthrough or curses before you give. If you believe in the love of God towards you and believe in Hos request to love or express it to him and our neighbors you will make him happy daily with your lifestyle, finances and every substance within your reach as you do good to everyone around you.

True faith does not allow any believer to kill a sinner but to desire the salvation of such a sinner. That is the heartbeat of God for this moment. That is what God wants. You can love me and be disobeying me or working against me. That is not true love. True love does not come with the condition. Serving God and doing things or giving so as to receive husband or wife or children or money or healing as the case may be is not s sign of true love. The love of God to us is unconditional love.

Either we commit sin or not He loves us. He has loved us and He will never unlove us no matter what we do. Too late for God to unloved us. He loves all the sinner believers are killing in their prayers either you agree with me or not it does not change the truth – 2 Timothy 2:13 – If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

1 John 2:1-2 – My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Faith and Prayer

If you believe in God you will communicate with him. If you believe he is your father and your savior. If He is your love and your help you will talk to him daily and the act of talking to God through our Lord Jesus Christ by His spirit is called prayer. Prayer is not defined by the place where you have prayed, not by what you wear while praying. It is not defined by the time you have prayed or the posture you took while praying. Prayer is simply talking to God. It is two-way communication. It involves talking to him and as well as hearing from him.

For example, saying good morning to God is a prayer and that is all and maybe enough for you throughout the day. Thank you, Jesus is a prayer, I receive strength is a statement of prayer. I am prosperous today and forever is a statement of prayer, saying I am healed by the stripes of Jesus is a prayer said and that is enough to cause miracle of healing if there is faith in it. Etc.

We need to do away with all the ambiguity that has been placed on prayer making it a religious activity. I receive money today in Jesus name is a prayer and if it is said in faith it is enough to receive amazing wonder financially that day. You need no ceremony in prayer. Hear Jesus talking about prayer of faith here –

That is it. Whatever you say or think about is prayer. – Ephesians 3:20 – Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

In the scripture in Mark 11:22-24 that we read earlier Jesus said if you say Move to a mountain that is a prayer and that statement of faith will definitely move the mountain to another place of your choice. James put it this way – James 5:15 (KJV) – And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

There is something called a prayer of faith. He as well called it an effective fervent prayer in verse sixteen. – James 5:16 (KJV) – Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Can I say this to you? If you believe you will pray. Prayer is the only way to express your faith – Mark 11:24 (KJV) – Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Our prayer is a communication of our faith in Christ Jesus – Philemon 1:6 – That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Our prayer is a confession of our faith – Hebrews 3:1 (KJV) – Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Hebrews 10:23 – Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised 😉

The Expression of Faith

Faith that is not express is not better than a dead or dormant faith. Until faith is expressed there can never be a manifestation of its potency and capacity. Faith is powerful. It is the power of the believers to have, receive and to do whatever as one desires. To express our faith we must speak and act it. If you believe that you are rich and wealthy in Christ Jesus then speak it, and behave it.

You cannot be lying down on the bed in the name “you are sick” for people to pitty you and keep saying “sorry” and when you are asked how is it? Your response will always be “I am sick” “I am not getting better” or “I am dying” or I am going to die” What? What kind of Spirit do you have or received? That is not the spirit of Christ and His faith.

You have to behave healthily if you believe by the trips of Jesus Christ you have been made whole and healthy. You have to speak it, I am healed. I am the healed of the Lord. You have to speak it and you what? Until you speak it, you will never pick it. Until you say it you will never see it. Until you confess it you will never encounter it and until you profess it you will never manifest it. So speak it and behave it that is how to manifest your faith. 2 Corinthians 4:13 – Having the same spirit of faith, according to as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Philemon 1:6 – That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. Our mouth is not for eating rice and beans or eating fruits or taking tea alone it is primarily for creating and recreating things. It is for speaking things that were not to be and that which was bad to be good – Romans 4:17 – (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

That was what God used His mouth for in the beginning. The word of God says God said “Let there be light and it came. Let there be this and let there be that and all that you see as beautiful as they are today were the product of the communication by the word of God. So primarily our mouth is for beautifying life. Making our life and the surrounding beautiful daily. Hebrews 10:23 – Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised 😉.

The speaking of faith must be continuously and until you see your words coming to past. Someone asked me a question once a time after the preaching in service on the confession of our faith. He said, “how long will I speak the faith or the word of faith before I stop and when will I have whatever I said?” I answered him with the same thing I have said earlier in this teaching that you don’t stop speaking what you believe and you don’t stop acting or behaving it. When you stop to speak it, it may be a sign that you have doubted it. Or you no more belief it. Meaning you speak until you pick or see it. See the word of God in Acts 19:20 – So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

The word of faith is like a seed and it has to grow to maturity and then bring out fruits and the fruits will be good for food only when it is ripe. Faith and its result is a process so go through it. Behaving and speaking your faith may make you be rebuked or rejected or mocked out there, but never let that stop or intimidate you.

The victory of believers is in the use of their God-given faith – 1 John 5:4 – For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

A lady started behaving like a pregnant woman through her confession and buying new babies stuff because she was expecting by faith twins. It took some time but she eventually became pregnant and delivered two baby boys. But people could mock her when they saw her buying those stuff, people could mock her when she told them to call her by the name “mama David” that was one of the expected son’s name.

Faith and Time

Any faith that does not work with love cannot function effectively – Galatians 5:6 – Because in Christ Jesus, having circumcision or not having circumcision are equally of no profit; but only faith working through love. The same is for any faith that does not work with time. Faith that does not respect time cannot work effectively and will definitely lack manifestations. –

Hebrews 10:35-38 – Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Patience is one of the virtues of faith. Without this virtue faith will lack performance – Galatians 6:9 – And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. I love the way James explained it –

James 1:3-4 – Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Waiting time is not wasting time, it is winning time. It is wonder’s time. Let us learn to wait. Abraham said in his waiting experience –

Romans 4:19-21 – And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

During the affliction and sickness of Job He said – Job 14:14 – If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

Faith works with time, so allow your faith to work with time. A lot of people are backsliding or stopped speaking faith or praying because they thought it has taken God too long to answer them… No! It is either it is not a time for it or your faith is not effective enough to permit the release of your desire. It will always be unto you according to your faith so said Jesus in Mathew 9:28-29 – And when he came into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
