Real Liberty in Christ Jesus – Part Four

Message preached on the Sunday 23rd June, 2019

Text: Galatians 5:1-6 (KJV) – Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Christ has become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availed anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.

From the above scripture, it is obvious that we surely have rest, or freedom or something I called liberty. It is not what we shall be praying for, not what we shall fast for or sow seeds for, it is what we have received freely in Christ Jesus by only Faith.

Two things are very important that has been mentioned in our text that we have been considering in this series. The first is in verse 1 of Galatians 5:1- Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Meaning you are the only one who can permit yourself to be out under any bondage either of the law or of men (mediators) or the bondage of Satan and powers or of Sin.

Remember that whatever you permit is the only thing that can affect you or happen to you. Mathew 16:19. Luke 21:15. Satan came around Jesus and he was all over him for a while simply because Jesus permitted him to play around him. But when Jesus had enough of him he sent him away and put him where he belongs and instantly Satan responded. This is a story from Mathew 4:1-11.

You can imagine how patience Jesus was with Satan. To have allowed him take him to three different spots to ask him stupid stuff but to fulfilled scripture Jesus cooperated with Satan not because he could not stop him but to us it is a lesson that if we permit the devil he will keep oppressing us, if we put him where he belongs we shall enjoy liberty and freedom that we have. It is not God that will do that it is us. James 4:7, Luke 21:15.

The first time, Satan told him to turn stone to bread knowing that Jesus was hungry, after staying away from food for fourth days and night. But Jesus’ response was no because He knew himself, who he is and who he should take instruction from. He told him No. Matthew 4:4 (KJV)  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.

Devil don’t give up just like that, he took him on a journey to a high place and asked him to jump down quoting the word to the word himself that it is written. What? How can this devil be that bold to know the truth and stand against it? Anyways he is too proud to submit and wanted to make Jesus fails his assignment since he knew he was the target of his coming and mission to the earth to set people free from his trap. Hallelujah.

Matthew 4:5-6 (KJV) – Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, And said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

But Jesus knowing whom he was told him you cannot tempt the Lord your God. What? But the devil knew that! He was a corning fellow. His mission was to defeat the mission of Jesus for if Christ had o eyes him to prove that he has the power to do those things he has been asked to do he would have forfeited the victory to Satan.

Matthew 4:8-9 (KJV) – Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and shew him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

What? What do you own or have on earth and in heaven Mr. Man? How could you tell the owner of the earth? The creator of the earth and all that is in it, that you owned the things He as the word of God created? But now Jesus got enough of him because he was not making any sense at all in all his dealings with Jesus. Then Jesus got angry and put him where he belongs and immediately he responded to his command.

Matthew 4:10-11 (KJV) – Then said Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil left him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

What was the reason for that story? I want to let you know that it is a choice to allow yourself to be put under any element of bondage either of the law, Satan, Men, or Sin. It is a choice! If you don’t want it you will stay free and be in the rest of God that he gave you by faith in Him forever. If you want to be in bondage despite that Christ has paid with his life to give you the freedom there is nothing He can do to that because it is your life.

From the previous teaching on this subject we have spoken on a lot of issues as related to our liberty or freedom or life that we have received in Christ Jesus as a believer. This life is tangible. One can live it. Jesus wants us to live it – 1 John 4:17, Paul said he was living it – Gal 2:20. No wonder he was able work miracles, signs and wonders. Jesus said in Mathew 11:28-30 that “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” He wants us to be free. The only way is to come to him. And we can only get to him by faith. Glory to Jesus.

Hebrews 4:3, 9 (KJV) – For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, as I have sworn in my wrath if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. There remained, therefore, a rest to the people of God.

We have rest in Christ Jesus from Al troubles of life, from intimidations and harassment of any kind. We have liberty.

There are people around us today just as they were around in the days of the Apostles to put them in the bondage where Christ has set them free from but they refused to allow such people to succeed over their liberty. They refused their words, fellowship, and teachings to have a place in them because they knew the truth and stood for the truth. – Galatians 2:4 (KJV)- And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Freedom is good but people of God are kept in bondage because they lack the knowledge about the reality of the life they have in Christ Jesus. We need to know the truth and we deserve to know the truth so that we can stay in the freedom, the peace, and the love, the grace that Jesus suffered for and gave to us.

We have defined what real liberty in Christ Jesus means. It is a lifestyle of sonship, the spirit of grace given to us believers. It is a life that we are given freely to live by faith in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah.

We earlier said we have been set free from four major elements – Galatians 4:1-7 (KJV) – Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differed nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

These elements are

The Element of the Law.

We have freedom from the element of the Law. And that we have dealt with extensively please order the message if you missed the service where it was preached. Give this, pay this, do this or that to access or please God is no more.

Now we access and please him by Faith. Halleluyah. Because we live by faith now that is called grace.- Galatians 5:18.

By faith we please God – Hebrews 11:6, by faith we walk – 1 Corinthians 5:7, by faith we receive from Him whatever we desire – Mark 9:23, by faith we stand in the grace of God – Romans 5:2, 2 Corinthians 1:24. Mark 11:22-24, Gal 5:6.

The element of Men (Mediators)

We are free from the element of men. That is the element of the mediator. Jesus is the only mediator between us the believers and God. 1 Timothy 2:5 – For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Paul said in 2 Corinthians 1:24 (KJV) that “Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand”.

Do not allow anyone in the name of whosoever to dominate your faith. Your God is God through Jesus Christ no man can take that place. Your major mentor and guidance or pastor are the Holy Spirit. Your church or fellowship center’s pastor is secondary to the Holy Spirit of God that is the custodian of God in you. – 1 John 3:24 (KJV) – And he that kept his commandments dwelled in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

You need to allow him to direct you through your church pastor or leaders with a spiritual confirmation with whatever instruction you have been given to be sure it is the Lord that requires you to do it. Do not forget that the power of the believers is released by the Holy Spirit of God in us.

That is why if you are not led by the Holy Spirit you are not a confirmed son of God. The word son includes female and male. Gal 3:28-29.

Romans 8:14-16 (KJV) – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

It is high time we begin to behave like a Berean church as mentioned in Acts 17:11-12 – These were nobler than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honorable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

We need to reason and not just follow like a dummy. Please get the message on this subtopic in case you missed the service where it was preached.

The Element of the Satan and the Powers.

We are free from the element of Satan and his powers. When Christ died and resurrected he gave us power. Hallelujah – John 1:11-12 (KJV) – He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

1 John 4:4 (KJV) – Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

Jesus before he died he told us he will empower us. It was a promise that he fulfilled at the resurrection. Matthew 16:19 (KJV) – And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

He told the decuples that they will have power over all things he began by saying “Behold” meaning watch out! Meaning look! Luke 10:19 (KJV) – Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

He said in Luke 21:15 that He has given to us a mouth at redemption so that we can be able to live a life of victory. So our mouth is not meant for lipsticks alone, not for food alone, not for talking alone. Primarily it is to shape our destiny and make things happen as we may desire. Luke 21:15 (KJV) – For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

How do we access this power or have we access this power? The answer is yes we have the power already because we have Christ indwells in us. If you have been redeemed or saved you have this power. He told the disciples that to access this power that He promised them, they have to do only one thing as written in Luke 24:49-52 (KJV) – And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them and carried up into heaven. And they worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

And they tarried and got the power after that the Holy Spirit came upon them. Acts 2:2-4 (KJV) – And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

But he earlier told them that Holy Spirit will be the custodian of this power to be released upon them – John 16:7-16 (KJV) – Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he comes, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take from me, and shall shew it unto you. A little while and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me because I go to the Father.

He was with the disciples for forty days and night after resurrection and this was o e of the thing he told them in Acts 1:8-9 (KJV) – But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

If any man has received the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and savior it means he has received the life of Christ Jesus and he is a son of God. He has the spirit of God in him – 1 John 3:24 (KJV) – And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. He has the power of God.

1 Corinthians 1:24 (KJV) – But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. If you have Jesus you have power.

It is not what you will go to the mountain to get. It is not what you will fast to have. It is not what you will sow the sacrificial seed as it is called to receive. Every believer in Christ Jesus has it. If you are not using it then it is another case.

Meaning believers do not have a lack of power problem but power usage problem. Therefore praying for God to empower you is a prayer that will get no answer. Because you are asking Him to do for you what He had already done. Get my message none hundred percent answered prayer, there I taught five important things to take note of if you want to get answer always when you pray, and one of them is that,

If you ask God to do what he had already done you will be frustrated in the palace of prayer. That will not be answered by him – Romans 10:6-8 (KJV) – But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, who shall ascend into heaven? (That is, to bring Christ down from above 🙂 Or, who shall descend into the deep? (That is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what said it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

If it is finished as said by Jesus – John 19:30. It is truly finished. Do not ask him to come and do it again. Just go ahead and keep enjoying the finished work. He did it for you. Halleluyah

Listen to this: We as believers are free from all power of evil or Satan – We are not going to be free but we are free – Colossians 1:13-15 (KJV) – Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.

Colossians 2:10 (KJV) – And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Colossians 2:14-15 (KJV) – Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

When Christ resurrected He ascended to heaven and spiritually he took us along and settled us on the same platform with himself – Ephesians 2:5-6 (KJV) – Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Why did he do that? So as to allow his word to come to pass that we share power and authority with him. That we can do all things in His name – So that we can have the fulfillment of this scripture and others that carry his promises to empower us to do what he can do. Matthew 16:19 (KJV) – And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) – And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

John 14:12-14 (KJV) – Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Why has he taken us with him to the heavenly places in himself (Christ Jesus)? Because the place is far above principality and powers. Halleluyah. It is the place of security, peace, joy, and blessings. Glory to Jesus Christ. Amen. Ephesians 1:19-21 (KJV) – And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

It is most time said that a man is what he eats. And that is very correct. Then it is true that we have power because of who lives in us – 1 John 4:4 (KJV) – Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

In case we allow Satan and Powers to prevail at any point in time because we let down the guide among many other reasons that can make the enemy prevailed on a believer, we have power to regain our victory or triumph again in Christ Jesus It is not God or Jesus that will do that for you. He has obtained freedom for us once with His own blood. And gave us the power to reclaim whatever by whatever the devil had tampered with. – 1 John 5:4 / Mk 11:22-24 / Lk 21:15 / Matt 16:19 / Mk 16:17-18 / James 4:7

Above all Christ is there to give you VICTORY on a daily basis as long as you believe it – 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV) – But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Another version says…. Who gives (BBE Version). Just engage this provision and your Victory will be forever.

The Element of Sin

We are free from the element of Sin. Hallelujah!

Can I say this….. We are free or we have liberty over sin – Please do not hide under grace to commit SIN…. Sin can never have control or dominion over us anymore forever as long as we can stay and be led by His spirit – Rom 6:14 – For sin may not have rule over you: because you are not under law, but under grace.

Don’t tell us God understand! Hey! He does not! All he wants from us is to live his own life. Ok! – He gave His own life that we may live it. We never gave our life to him. We received His life. – John 3:16 (KJV) – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 5:25-26 (KJV) – Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

1 John 5:12 (KJV) – He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

John 10:11, 18 (KJV) – I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Colossians 3:3-4 (KJV) – For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

1 John 4:17 (KJV) – Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Listen even as he was He did not commit sin – Hebrews 4:15 (KJV)  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Then he said in Matthew 5:48 (KJV) that – Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

That means He knew we can stay victorious over sin.

Paul said we can do this and many other things if we choose to do it because it is Christ doing it in us, through us and with us – Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

Philippians 2:12-13 (KJV) –  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Note that we can never work out salvation except He works it out in us, with us and through us. You cannot sin if daily and all moment you are being led and quickened by the Holy Spirit. – Romans 8:1-14. Holy Spirit cannot lead you to commit sin or can He? Imagine you seeing something not right and you are attracted to do it and the by spirit quickens your eyes, your feelings and emotions to things above. You will lose such interest immediately. You will just be speaking in tongues….. Hahahaha!

From the scripture above it is obvious that sin is not dead….   But believers are dead to sin….1 John 3:8-9 (KJV) He that committed sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Someone will say, but pastor Steve, wait!  What of 1 John 2:1-2 (KJV) – My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our’s only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

That scripture is not talking to you because you are no more a baby in faith after ten years of salvation. It says little Children! If you still address yourself as a little children in Christ after 10 years of salvation. After speaking in tongues and being ordained as a leader may be you are a pastor or altar minister preaching on the altar then you need divine help. You should be flogged so that your eyes of understanding can be opened fast.

That scripture is applicable to everyone by the reason of that fact that peradventure we by chance commits a sin we have a readymade forgiveness in Christ Jesus but we cannot keep committing sin because of that opportunity. You are baby in Christ if you do that.

Paul knowing truly that a born again child of God does not commit sin. The word of God says he can’t never commit sin, have seen that? Look at that choice of words. See it here …1 John 3:8-9 (KJV) – He that committed sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remained in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

…because the seed of God is in him or her. Meaning he or she is matured in the Holy Spirit. Such person is being led by the Holy Spirit. Meaning He or she is dead to sin and sinful nature. Glory! Paul said we should run from all appearances of evil before they hold us down.  1 Thessalonians 5:22 – Abstain from all appearance of evil.

You are righteous by the free gift of God upon you through your faith in Christ. Try your best through the grace of God by His Spirit in you to stay righteous till He comes back for us.

What is the provision for enjoying this liberty?

It has been mentioned time without number in the course of this teaching series from part one to this last part of it.

The provision is Faith!

1 John 5:4-5 (KJV) – For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Hebrews 4:3 (KJV) – For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

James 5:14-16 (KJV) – Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Here James was talking of the prayer of faith. Prayer was first offered plus the Anointing with oil but they cannot heal the sick yet until the faith is expressed in prayer then the sick are healed and his sin is also forgiven him. Wow! How powerful is our Faith?

Be careful so that you do not allow material things to steal your faith in God. God no more move through things made with hands anymore – Acts 17:24-25 (KJV) – God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

Actually James was not promoting anything else other than Faith in that verse. Not prayer and not the use of oil but Faith. He said the prayer that has faith will heal the sick and also forgive his sins. What? Glory to Jesus for the Spirit of Faith – 1 Corinthians 4:13 But having the same spirit of faith, as it is said in the Writings, The words of my mouth came from the faith in my heart; in the same way, our words are the outcome of our faith;.

Listen to this; the preaching or using of Anointing Oil from this scripture is out of context application. The scripture mentioned oil but not an Anointing oil. The word anointing mentioned here is just a King James Bible version’s choice of word. If you check many other versions they did not use the word anointing, for example, see this version called Basic Bible English. James 5:13-15 (BBE) – Is anyone among you in trouble? Let him say prayers. Is anyone glad? Let him make a song of praise.

Is anyone among you ill? Let him send for the rulers of the church; and let them say prayers over him, putting oil on him in the name of the Lord. And by the prayer of faith, the man who is ill will be made well, and he will be lifted up by the Lord, and for any sin which he has done, he will have forgiveness.

Now can you see what I am saying? That verse was not talking of anointing oil. Yes, it did mention Oil. The word Anointing there is a doing word. It is called a verb. And can be replaced with many of its synonyms. And actually different versions of the Bible replaced it as they may be pleased.

Can I tell you this; check through the New Testament you will not find the use of anointing oil. You can never find a word called Anointing Oil. You will find anointing and oil as used separately and differently either as a noun or as a verb in the case of anointing. That tells you that Anointing Oil is from the Law. It is an Old Testament concept. It is a shadow of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the anointing today that lives in a believer. 1 John 2:27 (KJV) –But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 14:26 (KJV) – But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Listen to this; even in the Old Testament. Anointing oil is made to precision. It has never been made by praying on the oil – Exodus 35:8 (KJV) – And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense, It is made from a combination of many spices.

The liberty or freedom or lifestyle that we have inherited in Christ Jesus can be ENJOYABLE or ACCESSIBLE by FAITH ONLY! John 14:12 / Mk 9:23

But FAITH in Christ not any other – Mk 11:22 / John 14:12

Gal 2:16. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Philippians 3:9 – And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

What is the implication of this faith teaching? By only faith, the breakthrough is accessed in Christ Jesus. That is the way to enjoy the freedom that is in Christ Jesus – Gal 5:6. That is the way to escape bondage that you have been saved from forever – Gal 5:1 / Rom 8:15

It is a lifestyle – 1 John 4:17 / John 5:26 / 1 John 15:12 – It is not a tool. A lot of people use the life or faith like a fool. You only use it when there is a need example is car C Caution or Jack or Spanner. Rom 1:17 / Gal 3:11 / Hebrews 10:38-39.

Never give up on FAITH.
