Scripture: Having, therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having a high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised 😉 – Hebrews 10:19-23 (KJV)
Faithful means to be committed to someone or self. It is a measure of loyalty of a person concerning who he believes or what he believed. Faithful is a root word from faith. To be faithful it is required to believe. Remaining loyal and steadfast. Faithfulness, therefore, is being consistent, loyal and stand strong for or with the person you believe or what you believe.
From the topic, there is someone who called you and it is He that is only faithful to do what He has called you to do. Hence the knowledge of what he has called you to do is very important as well as the knowledge of Him that called you.
The one who called you is God through Jesus Christ – To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation – 2 Cor 5:19 (KJV)
Romans 1:3-6 (KJV) – Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ.
Christ called you. You have a call upon your life from the text we have read – How did he call you? First, let me tell you that it is an honorable calling – Hebrews 5:4- And no man taketh this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. Your calling is by His gospel – 2 Thessalonians 2:14 – Where unto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
By Faith, every believer of Christ answered this call. Meaning every believer is qualified to access the faithfulness of God in Christ Jesus. Every believer is qualified by faith to access the help of God hence the scripture says –
Seeing then that we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.- Hebrews 4:14-16 (KJV)
We have a present help in God. We exemption grace in God through Jesus Christ. What others are suffering we cannot suffer. What others are denied we cannot be denied. Why our life is complete in Christ Jesus – Col 2:10/3:3. But how do we access this present help? We must believe it, confess it and expect it as we do the necessaries within man’s capacity.
You can’t be expecting to be free from coronavirus and you are attending to all people, groups, etc. without washing hands and other prevention… in short, you are “tempting God”, you can’t desire to be a bank manager one day without a relevant certification in the same industry. Let us not tempt God because it will not work in our favor.
What is very important that you should hold in this teaching very strongly is that you have a call upon your life and every believer has answered the call to believe in Christ. Then you are qualified to access help in time of need freely. Note freely. Secondly [please know that your caller is faith to you beyond your imagination and He is ever-present with you., He will never leave you nor forsake you that is not a prayer point – Hebrews 13:5 / Isaiah 49:15
I am in Christ Jesus and Christ is in me therefore whatever Christ can’t suffer I will not suffer in the name of Jesus Christ
I pray for you that from today you will always enjoy the divine support through grace in Christ Jesus at all points of need in your life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
