Scripture: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)

Brethren the body of Christ is growing very fast in ignorance, which has robbed so many believers off their blessings in Christ, making them walk in religion, pray without result and engage in kingdom services without rewards. We need to grow daily in the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus. This will increase our results as believers and make us more spiritual. Christianity is Spiritual and not Physical activities

It is low level of knowledge that makes one say prayers like “Lord decorate me with your presence or let your presence be with me etc. Especially when people go through difficulties, they wonder if God is with them. The feel he has departed from them, they hope and pray that He will be with them. Friends the truth is, He never leaves you and will never leave you. That is what the scripture above in Hebrews 13:5 told us.

Jesus said He will never leave us nor forsakes us. Get this clear that there is no condition attached. Meaning No matter what happens or where ever we have been found or whatever we have done he is always with us. Jesus said, “…I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen” – Matthew 28:20 NKJV. What a blessing! What a strength, hope and joy to know that. He’s with you through the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit. He did not say, “I will be with you”; it’s not a promise, get it right. It’s a fact. It what He has already done. It is an established action.

To live right, pray right as believers we need to grow in the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus. We need to understand the present truth and un-learn to re-learn. The reason for such spiritual errors is lack of adequate knowledge in the word of Christ. Eph 4:20, Col 3:16. God’s Word is a statement of truth, and our responsibility is to line up with His truth and live accordingly always. So think, talk, and live with the consciousness, confidence and the assurance that the Lord is in you and with you because He is truly in you! Either you believe it or not do not change the truth that He is in you and with you always. 2Tim 2:13 says “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself”- (KJV).

The implication of this truth is that you are forever safe, you are in safety. You need not be disturbed because of Satan and wicked people for they can’t do anything to you in Christ Jesus. Because He is with you always, it means you are blessed always. Jesus is the ever present help in time of need, the friend that sticks closer than a brother and He never fails. Give Him your Trust always. Isaiah 43:2 (KJV), He said, “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. That is a word that is still valid till this moment and forever.

He is in you and with you everywhere, in every place and in every situation. Give Him your Trust always. A times in worship service you see prayers like “let your presence come down” the implication of such prayer is that no one is  born again in that service because if you do you have his presence that came with you into the service and when the service is over you will depart with the presence of God. God in Christ Jesus does not live in a building called church but in us the believers. We carry his presence always. When you pray and sing to Him to let His presence come down where will it come from?

Some of the prayers of David people pray make them go deeper into spiritual error. Like cast me not from your presence oh lord. He will never do that, No! No matter what wrong you did, He will never leaves you nor forsakes you – Heb 13:5. Even in your wrongs He is with you to get you reconciled – 2 Cor 5:19. He loved you unconditionally; He wants you reconciled to him from your wrong. He hates the wrong but he loves you and still with you. Do not pray for him not to take his holy spirit from you. No! David did not know better but today by the Holy Spirit and the word of Christ we know better.

If David is around now he will surely known better. We need to understand the difference between the Old Testament Time to the New Testament time that we have today. God will never take His spirit from you. Romans 11:29 (KJV) says “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance”. No matter what the situation is; be conscious that you are in the presence of God always. Oh! What confidence you should have in life! No wonder He says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.” Isa 54:17. Have the attitude of victory in everything, every day of your life, for the greater one is with you and lives in you.

Let this be known to you that you will win always, because the Lord is in you and with you through the Holy Spirit of Christ that is given to you. Say with me that “God’s divine presence is with me and fills me, transforming every part of my being, every bone of my body, I have the mindset of victory and I reign triumphantly daily over circumstances in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
