God Does Not Kill Under The New Covenant?

IF THIS DOES NOT CHANGE YOU THEN LET HOLY SPIRIT HELP YOU!

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10:10-11 (KJV)

God will never kill any of the people Christ gave his life for. Listen very carefully: He will never kill to protect anyone. He can protect you without killing anyone. Stop thinking for God. He said He does not want the death of sinners – 2 Peter 3:9. DON’T YOU GET IT?

Luke 9:54-56 (KJV)  And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

It is obvious that praying for people to die or asking for vengeance on enemies from God is because you or your pastor does not know the kind of the spirit you have. If it is the spirit of God which is the spirit of love you wouldn’t have prayed such. He did not kill Satan to save the life of Job! Right?

I GOT IT! Your problem is the concentration on the acts of God in the Old Testament time. Listen friends…God changed his acts….despite the fact that himself changed not..but his character changed because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Don’t you get it?

The God of the Old Testament is not the God of the New Testament in Character and nature despite the fact that He changes not as God. For example in old testament time He did not love the world, He only loves the Israelite only, but today He lives the whole world, not only the believers.

In old testament time, He was not a father but only God, through Jesus Christ today God is a father ….and we can cry Abba Father – Rom 8:15, Gal 4:6, 1 John 3:1-2

Stop holding the teaching of your pastor against the truth. That is an at of foolishness – Gal 3:1-2. Your pastor is not the Holy Spirit neither is he or she the word of God and not God in person. Paul with all his knowledge in the word of Christ said…1 Corinthians 13:9 (KJV)  For we know in part, and we prophesy in part…

If this does not change you then let Holy Spirit help you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
